About Us
We are the strategic partner for those investing in Portugal, and for those who, from Portugal, want to reach further.
The idea behind the name
Six degrees of separation
The six degrees of separation theory holds that any person is connected to any other through a maximum of six contacts.
It is a simple idea with an enormous practical consequence: between an investor and the person who can unlock their project there is rarely a wall, only contacts nobody has made yet. Our job is to make them, and to make them well.
6 Graus | Investment Partner was created in January 2020 to be that link: a partner who knows the ground, who knows who decides what, and who treats every project with the urgency of someone who understands that opportunities have a deadline.
Mission. To contribute to the growth of the Portuguese economy by driving the internationalisation of companies and regions and attracting investment to the country.
Vision. To be a trusted reference in supporting projects that create jobs and generate economic prosperity.
Our values
Six principles, one for each degree
Integrity
We say what we think, even when it is not what the client wants to hear.
Partnership
We work alongside our clients, neither ahead of them nor behind them.
Responsibility
We own what we promise and answer for the outcome.
Availability
We are reachable. Projects do not wait for office hours.
Sense of urgency
A postponed opportunity is, almost always, a lost opportunity.
Sense of community
Good investment creates jobs and improves the place where it happens.
The founder
Rui Ramos-Pinto Coelho
Founder and CEO of 6 Graus | Investment Partner.
He created 6 Graus in 2020 to support investors and companies looking to invest or settle in Portugal, and municipalities seeking to energise their economy and attract investment. Clients include Jamestown (a vertically integrated real estate investment and management firm with more than 40 years of experience and a mission to create inspiring spaces, which since its founding in 1983 has completed transactions exceeding USD 40 billion across the United States, Latin America and Europe) and the city councils of Lisbon and Porto, among others.
Before that, he was for a decade the face of Lisbon's investment promotion agency, helping the city transform itself into one of Europe's most sought-after destinations for investors and entrepreneurs.
